Residency, 2023
The dyanmila* Studio Space is a joint initiative of Utp and Outloud, offering residency opportunities to artists and creatives who reside in or have connections to the Canterbury-Bankstown LGA or greater Western Sydney area. With an offer of two months access to a rent-free space, the dyanmila Studio is ideal for someone (or a duo or small collective) that wants to develop a new project or body of work and would like a dedicated space in a supportive environment with feedback from leaders in the industry.

We’re looking for creative practitioners with a desk-based practice in any discipline, including visual artists, sound designers, writers, editors, film makers, community producers, directors, etc.
Artists with diverse and intersectional lived experiences are encouraged to apply.
The dyanmila Studio Space residency offers:
- Two months of rent free space at Bankstown Arts Centre in a room furnished with a desk and chair with lots of a natural light
- Weekly 1 hour one-on-one mentorship with either Outloud or Utp staff
- At the end of the first month, the opportunity to share your work with internal staff
- At the end of the second month, the opportunity to share your work with invited guests

- Access to printer/photocopier

Studio Hours – 10am – 4pm, Monday – Friday (although different work arrangements might be possible)
