Finn is also a multi-award-winning writer, director and dramaturg, and has worked internationally in this capacity. She is passionate about creatively collaborating with artists and communities. Finn has Irish and Dutch parents, and grew up on Larrakia land.

She is a Ngati Hine Maori woman living on Cadigal land, and her translations come from her whakapapa, through recalling them she pays tribute to her tipuna and the many lands she inhabits. She has been working with Outloud since 2018, originally training with Zainab Kadhim and Kavita Bedford on the ‘Stories of Strength’ project.
